Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is a 95-acre public garden and park in Vienna, Virginia, Located about a 30 minute drive outside of D.C.. The gardens feature three ponds, two gazebos, an island bridge, 20+ varieties of cherry trees, aquatic plants, an azalea collection, a fern and hosta collection, an herb garden, a lilac garden, and perennials. Since 2012, it’s also home to the fascinating Korean Bell Garden, which includes a 3-ton Bell of Peace and Harmony, decorated with symbols from Korea and Virginia. Meadowlark presents gardening and horticulture workshops, tours, field trips, concerts, volunteer and programs. There’s a $5.00 entry fee for adults, but kids 7-17 are only $2.50 and 6 and under are free.
