The National Museum of the United States Air Force is the official museum of the United States Air Force located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, northeast of Dayton, Ohio. The NMUSAF has one of the world\’s largest collections with more than 360 aircraft and missiles on display. The museum draws over 1.3 million visitors each year. Three aircraft hangars and a missile silo make up the museum complex, and a fourth building will open to the public in June 2016. The huge museum has everything from a Wright Brothers 1909 Flyer to a Sopwith Camel (WWI biplane) and the ‘Little Boy’ type atomic bomb (decommissioned and rendered safe for display) dropped on Hiroshima.
