Prambanan Temples, Indonesia

Prambanan Temple Compounds, also known as Candi Rara Jonggrang is a well known ancient Hindu Temple in Java, Indonesia. This is the largest temple compound dedicated to Shiva in Indonesia. Prambanan Temple itself is a complex consisting of 240 temples. All the mentioned temples form the Prambanan Archaeological Park and were built during the heyday of Sailendra’s powerful dynasty in Java in the 8th century AD. The closest cities to Prambanan, are either Yogyakarta or Semarang.

The entry fees for Prambanan listed in borobudurpark.co.id is 30,000 Rp for Indonesian adult and 12,5000 Rp for children. For foreigners it is 171,000 Rp to adult and 85,000 for students.
