Montreal Comic-Con features comic books, toys, games, science-fiction, horror, anime, non-sport cards and collectibles. It is held 2 times a year at the Palais des Congres convention center in downtown Montreal. This celebration of fandom offered once again a solid program that pleased geeks of all kinds. Over the three days there was something for everyone.

The Edmonton Expo 2013 had over 150,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, almost 3 times as much as last year\’s event. It took place in halls EFGH at the Edmonton Expo Centre located at Northlands. The guest line up this year was pretty good. Karl Urban was there on Saturday and Ron Perlman on Sunday. The organizers were very excited for year two of the convention.

Some cosplayers have gathered in Convention Center Anaheim, California for WonderCon 2013. WonderCon is a great alternative to the intense insanity that is Comic-Con San Diego. It is big enough to attract a variety of celebs and artists. See images of your favorite comic book, anime, and video game heroines.
