HDR is an acronym for High Dynamic Range. One of the best ways to capture HDR photography is to use a camera with HDR function or simpler way is photographed a series of photos with different exposures and then combining them on your computer by software like Adobe Photoshop.
What we need ?
– Camera with manual exposure controls
– Tripod
– Suitable lens
Basic Camera Settings:
– Use aperture priority or manual mode, change only the shutter speed
– White Balance set to a fixed value
– Automatically focus on a subject and then switch to manual focus
– Set the lowest ISO value
– Turn off all undesirable effects
– If is it possible, Shoot in RAW
Shooting (three ways):
– Autobracketing (set aperture priority, select the aperture, the number of shots, AEB size and others are already managed by camera)
– Manual mode ( focus on the object, switch to manual focus, set the appropriate aperture value and shutter speed for the darkest / brightest area. Gradually increase / decrease the shutter speed by 1 EV, to reach a value for correct exposure)
– One RAW shot (you take it on only one shot and save it in RAW format. Than recall three photos with different exposures and then merge them in the program in HDR photography)

A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that causes a spectrum of light to appear in the sky when the Sun shines on to droplets of moisture in the Earth\’s atmosphere. It takes the form of a multicoloured arc, with red on the outer part of the arc and violet on the inner section. Rainbows can be observed whenever there are water drops in the air and sunlight shining from behind at a low altitude angle.
