Impressive Via Ferrata de la Grande Fistoire, France

The Great Via Ferrata Fistoire is situated in the Alpes de Haute Provence in the town of Cairo, 25 km north of Sisteron, 1 hour and 30 minutes north from Marseille. This via ferrata is open all year. This track has been operating only since 1996. The route requires about 4 hours to complete with multiple bridges, expanses of steel cable and permanent steps aiding the hikers endeavoring to reach the summit 300 meters above the trailhead affording expansive picturesque views of the valley below.
