Malacca also called Melaka in Bahasa Malaysia is a wonderful city for nice daytime activities. Melaka and George Town, historic cities of the Straits of Malacca have developed over 500 years of trading and cultural exchanges between East and West in the Straits of Malacca. Visiting Malacca is a unique experience with a rich historical and cultural background from previous Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. The city centre was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in July 2008.

St. Isaac’s is the world’s third largest domed cathedral and the first monument you see of the city if you arrive by ship. Isaakievsky Sobor is the largest Russian Orthodox cathedral in the city. Cathedral is dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great. It’s main dome rises 101,5 meters and is plated with pure gold. The exterior is faced with gray and red stone, and features a total 112 red granite columns with Corinthian capitals. Its interior is as awesome and decoration includes sculpture, painting polished stone, gifting, mosaic, stained-glass windows.

The water goes in perfect unison to the music. The lights, water, and music combined are amazing and breathtaking at night. Three types of nozzles are used for the various effects. Coconut taxi can be seen all over Havana and Varadero. The coco-taxi is a cute little two-seater, which is mostly used to do quick trips around the city. They are fast, fun and cheaper than a cab. The prices are vary, but always are less than $3 for a trip around town. The driver use a helm, but the passengers don’t get one.
