Victoria is the capital of British Columbia. The city is named after Queen Victoria. With its forested mountains and ocean, cycling and hiking trails, beaches, public markets, and green parks make your spirits soar. Approximately 3.5 million visitors spend at least a night in Victoria every year. There are another 50,000 visitors who come for a day only – primarily via cruise-ships. National Geographic recognizes Vancouver Island as one of the best cold-water diving destinations on earth and the renowned Jacques Cousteau Society rates the area second only to the Red Sea for diversity of marine life and water clarity.

Guadeloupe is a French archipelago made up of two main islands (Grande-Terre and Basse-Terre) and a number of neighboring islands, with the most important being Marie Galante, Les Saintes and La Désirade. Many beaches in Guadeloupe have small coral reefs. If you are looking for something more recommend a tour to the protected Petite Terre island. There is an easily accessed and quite large reef with lemon sharks, many turtles and plenty of colorful fishes.

Scotland is the most mountainous country in the United Kingdom. The area north and west of the Highland Boundary Fault is known as the Highlands, and contains the country’s main mountain ranges. The Highlands are popularly described as one of the most scenic regions of Europe and are often portrayed as a romantic part of Scotland. This is not at all strange given the stunning unspoilt nature with rugged mountains, deep blue lochs and empty glens where majestic Red Deer rule the hills and Eagles rule the skies.

Yosemite’s first residents were Native Americans who may have first inhabited the region as many as 10,000 years ago. Yosemite National Park was created in 1890, largely due to the efforts of writer and naturalist John Muir. On October 1, 1890, the U.S. Congress set aside more than 1,500 square miles of reserved forest lands, soon to be known as Yosemite National Park. Many species of native wildflowers and trees can be found in Yosemite. Trees include the Giant Sequoia, which can live up to 3,000 years and are considered to be the largest living thing on the planet. It is also home to several animal species, some of which have been saved from extinction. Bighorn sheep, golden eagles and peregrine falcons are just some of the creatures that have comfortably increased their numbers. There are between 300 to 500 black bears.

Martinique is island and overseas département and région of France, in the eastern Caribbean Sea. It is a leading destination for European vacationers, it offers gorgeous beaches, great food and a variety of accommodations. The island is crowned by the still-smoldering Mont Pelée, which wiped out Martinique’s former capital of St-Pierre in 1902. There’s plenty of hiking and nature-watching on the slopes of the volcano. The hurricane season in Martinique normally runs from June to November.

Autocross is an ideal discipline for novices looking to get their first taste of competitive motor sport. Autocross has a low cost of entry. Most sanctioning bodies only require a car in good mechanical shape, and an approved helmet. Autocross vehicles are vary from virtually standard road cars, some of which are driven to and from the events, up to Rally-spec cars, Autocross saloons and even modified Specials. The cars of same type compete against each other. The Foundation Autocross Abcoude was founded in 1974 with the vision of organizing an autocross annually. The autocross is organized every year – the Saturday before Abcouder festival week. This week is always the last Thursday of August. The cars at a time go wheel-to-wheel on a circuit that is part mud and part gravel, with the winner being the first person to reach the chequered flag.
