The World debut was at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. The new GS has sportier performance than past versions and it is leading lexus into a whole new territory. The Japanese company claims that the fourth-generation of the GS will grant more engaging and dynamic driving experience and the highest levels of refinement.

Toyota revealed a range of new models at the 2011 Geneva motor show, including full hybrid Yaris HSD concept. Yaris HSD is a typical city car, with an emphasis on low fuel consumption and low emissions. Like all other hybrid models of Japanese brands, the Yaris will be able to run solely on electricity. Roof of concept is covered with solar panels, which could improve the performance of the hybrid system. The independent panels power the air conditioning system in the concept. Design is almost identical with the serial model. While the exterior design of the European version will be completely identical with the Japanese, the interior will be diametrically different. We expect hybrid version of yaris in market in the second half of 2012.

The Toyota Prius is a four-door hatchback that seats five people.
It is a hybrid vehicles with a special powertrain that combines a gasoline-fueled internal combustion engine with an electric motor.
This engine allows to deliver higher fuel economy and lower emissions compared to regular cars.

Toyota says that the new car completed the government‘s test cycle with an economy rating of 51 mpg in city driving and 48 mpg on the highway. Combined mileage came out at an industry-leading 50 mpg.

The car’s hybrid powertrain consists of a 1.8-liter gasoline engine that produces 98 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque that’s used in conjunction with two electric motors and a special planetary gearset that functions as a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Total system power is 134 hp.
