The Edmonton Motorshow is the largest Auto Show in western Canada, showcasing 500,000 sq.ft of everything the automotive world has to offer. It attracts the most unique vehicles, owners and celebrities from across Canada. If you are a fan of supercars, you probably not missed the Chevrolet Corvette C7 R edition with 650 horsepower, the Dodge Viper ACR, new Acura NSX, McLaren 675LT, 570S, M4 GTS, Subaru 2016 BRZ SE or Infiniti Q60.

The New York Botanical Garden’s annual Orchid Show never fails to disappoint, and this year’s show is no exception. The visual style is deliberate. “Orchidelirium” harks back to the era when orchid mania swept Victorian England with such intensity that it required a new word to describe it. The spectacular centerpiece of the show, above, is a “mountain” of volcanic rock and orchids built over a cleverly-hidden structure of steel and chicken wire.

Every year the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea are transformed into show gardens, inspirational small gardens and vibrant horticultural displays for the world’s most famous flower show. Alan Titchmarsh designs RHS Britain in Bloom 50th anniversary garden at Chelsea Flower Show. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is attended by 157,000 visitors each year.

Swedish supercar manufacturer Koenigsegg partnered with German firm NLV Solar AG on the Quant by Koenigsegg, shown at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009. This year the Quant returns to Geneva but under the auspices of a company called nanoFLOWCell, lead by the same Nunzio La Vecchia of NLV Solar. NanoFlowcell, a company based in Lichtenstein, says that the QUANT e-Sportlimousine utilizes four electric motors, one for each wheel, that give out a combined maximum output of 680kW and a normal operating output of 480kW. The 912 horsepower working prototype is powered by a flow cell battery. According to the manufacturers, the Quant boasts a 5-times greater performance than most other electric cars run on lithium-ion technology. It is able to reach (96.5 kph) 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, and a top speed f 236 mph (379 kph)

The Brussels Motor Show has attracted much attention with their display of environmentally friendly hybrid cars. The show includes seven out of the world’s ten most energy efficient and beneficial for nature vehicles to be launched this year. 92nd Car Show in Brussels takes place from 16 to 26 January 2014 at Brussels Expo at the Heysel.
